A police constable arrested in Bushbuckridge
The constable is expected to appear before the local court today on charges of possession of unlicensed ammunition.
A 32-year-old constable from Bushbuckridge Police Station and his three co-accused will appear in Mapulaneng Magistrate’s Court today.

According to Brig Leonard Hlathi, the provincial police spokesperson, the accused faces charges of possession of unlicensed ammunition for firearms, a tear gas canister, empty police dockets, a roll of SAPS tape and dagga.

His three co-accused were charged with possession of three unlicensed firearms. “They are believed to be involved in numerous business robberies that took place around Acornhoek, Bushbuckridge, Hazyview and Calcutta.
