PIET RETIEF – A 46-year-old teacher was recently found guilty for the rape of a 15-year-old learner by the Piet Retief Regional Court on Thursday.
This incident dates back to 2001, wherein Ndlovu impregnated the 15-year-old school girl and promised the family he would pay the damages, but disappeared.

In February 2002, the family reported the matter to the police.
He was released on bail while the matter was still in court until last week when he was convicted of the offence.
Ndlovu was remanded in custody and will appear before court on February 6, for his sentencing.
