No arrest yet in principal’s murder

SAPS are investigating a house robbery and murder case.

WHITE RIVER – Investigations on the murder of a 57-year-old school principal are still under way.

“No arrests had been made yet, we still continue with our investigations and urge members of the community with information which can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to come forth,” says Sgt Cynthia Mbokodo, White River police spokesperson.

She said the suspect(s) who suffocated Mr Mvelase Solomon Mdluli of Mahlatsi Secondary School while he was allegedly watching the Africa Cup of Nations at his house in White River on Monday night, left the scene with Mdluli’s blue Hyundai Accent with the registration HWK 734 MP. SAPS are investigating a house robbery and murder case.

The deceased’s brother,Mr Mzulu Caiphus Mdluli says a memorial service will be held today at Mahlatsi Secondary from 13:00. He will be buried in the Schoemansdal cemetery on Saturday.
