Baby mama and three men to appear in court for murder
During the investigation, a dramatic twist of events took place where it was discovered that a 32-year-old woman with whom the deceased has two children with, was also arrested for conspiracy to commit a murder.
Three men and a woman will appear at the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court today for the murder of a government employee.
The suspects were arrested on December 31, 2016 in Kriel in connection with the murder of Rofhiwa Tshifhango and attempted murder of his colleague, Mandla Mahlangu.
According to information received, the victims who were employed by the Department of Public Works were allegedly hounded by the men and were taken to Spitzkop Farm. Tshifhango was strangled to death while Mahlangu was shot several times and were later discovered at the farm.

Unfortunately, only Mahlangu survived the tragedy, but is still in hospital. During the investigation, a dramatic twist of events took place where it was discovered that a 32-year-old woman with whom the deceased has two children with, was also arrested for conspiracy to commit a murder. According to investigations, she is the mastermind behind the death of Tshifhango.

It is alleged that Mahlangu had been at the deceased’s house when they were confronted by the suspects. They were assaulted and the house was ransacked before being taken away in the back of Tshifhango’s Audi A4.
The suspects are facing charges of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and motor vehicle theft.
