Pregnant woman dies in car crash

A pregnant woman was killed in a head-on collision between two Sedans yesterday. The accident, which left five more people injured, happened at KaMagugu road, causing a heavy traffic jam.

Simultaneously, two people were injured in another accident at the intersection of the Samora Machel (N4) and Kaapsehoop avenues yesterday.

The Mbombela Traffic Department, ambulances and the police raced to the scene, where they found that a black sedan had pushed over a traffic light pole. The sedan was badly damaged.

A white Toyota Tazz was also involved in the accident and was dented as well. The wrecks were positioned on either side of the N4.

The cause of both accidents is yet to be known.
