Dialogue on albinism underway
People with Albinism are living in fear and are still facing lot of challenges which includes discrimination for their skin colour.

MBOMBELA – The human rights commission in the province will be conducting a dialogue on albinism at Tshwane University of Technology(TUT) today.
The aim of the dialogue is to talk about challenges faced by people living with albinism in the country.

Mpumalanga News learnt that a majority of people with Albinism lives in fear and face lots of challenges including discrimination for their colour while some are often perceived as a curse and some killed for different rituals.
This was also revealed during the official re-launched of Albinism Forum by the Nguni Cluster of the Mother’s union in the Anglican Church of South Africa at St’ Mathias Anglican Church in Barberton.
