Loud, sassy and opinionated are just some of terms used to describe Mashile in her younger years. After coming into her own, the vibrant Mpumalanga native used these exact traits, that were meant to break her down, as the building blocks for her unique personality that has captured many.

When asked what her thoughts were on the opportunity, she gratefully expressed what a great opportunity it was to be able to join the best of the best. Then stated it was a testament to the fact that even the dreams of young girls in rural Bushbuckridge were achievable.

In the soapie, Cynthia works at Ezweni Communications, a role similar to Mashile’s real life career as a director in an advertising agency which services blue-chip clients. She is excited to see the character develop and hopes to, herself, become a household name in the South African entertainment industry.
