Paul Kruger Gate to be inaccessible on Saturday

Guests are advised to use alternative gates such as Phabeni Gate to access and exit the Kruger National Park between 07:00 and 16:00 on the day.

Kruger National Park guests are hereby informed that Paul Kruger Gate will be inaccessible due to the traffic that will be going to Skukuza for the land claimant financial compensation handover celebration in the Kruger National Park on Saturday, May 21.

The event will possibly create unusual traffic in and around Skukuza Camp. Guests are advised to use alternative gates such as Phabeni Gate to access and exit the Kruger National Park between 07:00 and 16:00 on the day.

“SANParks would like to apologize in advance for the inconvenience, however we ask guests to please bear with us as government marks this first phase of the settlement of land claims by communities from Mpumalanga and Limpopo.

“The award of financial compensation is in line with the 2008 Cabinet Decision on equitable redress as the approved option for the settlement of the land claims on the Kruger National Park,” said William Mabasa, Acting Head of Communications.
