Man jumps to his death after stabbing nurse

MOMBELA – A man jumped to his death from the roof of Rob Ferreira nurses’ home after stabbing a student nurse on Monday night.

According to a statement released by the health department, the second year student had an argument with the man believed to be her boyfriend in her room, which led him to stabbing her several times.

“The department will allow the police to conduct their full investigation.

We will also cooperate with the police during their investigation until the real cause of the incident is known,” said MEC Gillion Mashego.

The nurse has been admitted in the ICU at Rob Ferreira Hospital and is in a stable condition.
