Stolen goods recovered

BARBERTON – Incidents of house break ins have become a part of life for most residents in this once peaceful small town. This comes after a spate of house robberies have been reported since the beginning of the month.

According to the police, most of the house breakings are happening around the CBD at Natal’s Drift and Bok areas. Working together with the community, the police recently recovered stolen property after a tip off.

The recovered goods include DVD players, drivers licences, and cell phone batteries. Police are calling upon community members who lost their properties to come forward.

“There are stolen properties that have been found and we are looking for rightful owners to come forward. Suspect(s) is still at large but investigations are continuing,” said Const Tutu Nkosi, local police spokesperson.
