An exquisite live recording to mesmerise locals

The theme for this whole show is royal worship, we encourage people to bring their A-game.

A live recording like no other, in all its extra ordinary nature, is set to hit the Lowveld.

Paul Nkosi, affectionately known as Mervas, will be recording his gospel DVD live at KaNyamazane’s El Shadai this weekend.

“This is my first album altogether, hence I plan to make it spectacular. We will be praising the Lord in a way Mbombela has never seen before.

The songs are exquisite and will bring the audience closer to God. I am a very flexible artist; some dance moves will be prevalent on the night. We will be rejoicing and going crazy in His presence,” said Mervas.

This ecstatic young man has been in the field for over 10 years as a producer, and has worked with renowned artists in the industry.

Although his profile in this regard would award him the right to brag, he still managed to stay humble for all the years.

“I have worked with a number of gospel artists in and outside the province, the likes of multi-award winner, Pretty Mhlongo, Xolani Sithole from Joyous Celebration, Tebello Sukwene, and Past Benjamin Dube.

I believe in being humble and letting the work do the talking. After-all, the Bible confirms that we should humble ourselves, and only God will lift us high,” he added.

Mpumalanga’s very own legends, Masibuyele kuJehova, will also be part of the supporting acts on the day.

“The anointing that flows when those women sing is amazing, one cannot want to be associated with such.

They are our very own local greats in the gospel scene, what better way to record a DVD than in the presence of our mothers, the people who have raised us and watched us grown and tap into the anointing,” he said.

For those of us who love a bit of fashion and bikes, this is definitely the show to attend.

“I love fashion, and I have a soft spot for looking good and neat all the time.

The theme for this whole show is royal worship, we encourage people to bring their A-game.

We will also be having bikers for the opening. We just want to kill the stereotype that such things are for non-believers, you can be a biker and still have your life devoted to God. It’s going to be amazing, we are bringing out the kingdom swag,” concluded Merves.

Tickets are available from all Sneakers Edition stores in town for R100 each, the festivities will kick-off at 17:00.
