MBOMBELA – Two Tanzanian nationals arrested in connection with dealing in drugs in Mbombela appeared in the Nelspruit Magistrate Court for their bail application on Monday.
The two Mr Kiama Njohole and Mrisho Salum were arrested following a tip off which police received from residents of Valencia on the outskirts of Mbombela CBD about the suspicious house belonging to the two.
Police then swiftly acted on the information and went to the house where we arrested one of the suspects outside the house. He was found in possession of drugs. He then led us to the house where the second suspect was found. Upon a thorough search of the house, police discovered sachets of cocaine, heroine and hard cash of over R63 700 hidden under a wardrobe.
Court outcome were not known at time of publishing this article.
