The event also featured virtual reality (VR) demonstrations, which opened up a world of possibilities for learners and inspired them to embrace technology as a tool for change.

Nova Pioneer recently hosted an extraordinary organisation-wide event, the ‘IGNYT Innovation and Leadership Event’, at the Nova Pioneer Midrand Senior Campus.

The event on July 29 was a resounding success and brought together parents, learners and Nova Pioneer teammates for a day of inspiration, creativity and fun.

It was specifically tailored for Grade 6 and 7 classes and aimed to nurture a culture of innovation, leadership and collaboration among young minds.

Throughout the day, attendees were immersed in various engaging activities and experiences that left a lasting impact on all who participated.

One of the event’s highlights was the learner’s presentations where young innovators showcased their brilliant ideas for their projects and impressed the audience with their ingenuity and creativity.

The senior school classroom experience allowed visitors to gain insight into Nova Pioneer’s unique teaching methodologies and academic programmes.

The event also featured virtual reality (VR) demonstrations, which opened up a world of possibilities for learners and inspired them to embrace technology as a tool for change.

For the young and young-at-heart, jumping castles provided an outlet for excitement and play, while live performances throughout the day created an electric atmosphere of entertainment and celebration.

The event also provided an opportunity for highly esteemed guests to share their views and opinions during the live recording of the Novaneer Podcast.

A standout moment was the keynote address delivered by the esteemed CEO and co-founder of Nova Pioneer, Chinezi Chijioke.

His inspiring words motivated students to continue pushing boundaries, believing in their dreams and striving for excellence.

Nova Pioneer marketing associate Pule Letshweni said the event was honoured to have the presence of distinguished guests.

“Amapiano musicians, Maronza Robzen, and Slice brought their infectious beats, Sensational Afrosoul vocalist Buhlebendalo moved hearts with her soulful performance and popular actor and model Vuyo Dabula added glamour to the event,” said Letshweni.

“Furthermore, the well-known House DJ, podcaster and radio personality, DJ Fresh, also gave learners a motivational talk.”
