The Department of Health would like to encourage all members of the community to practise social distancing and stringent mask-wearing this festive season.

The department has laid out the following general safety tips for residents to remain aware of:
– Don’t mix swimming with alcohol
– Have a safer holiday, always be mindful of children

– Remember to take your medication as prescribed
– Be safe, always use condoms and contraceptives
– Wear reflective clothing at night
– Always have car seats for children
– Stay sober, always buckle up
– Observe Covid-19 pandemic personal protocols such as wearing masks in public places, handwashing and regular sanitising of hands
– Practise social distancing at all times.
