Suzuki introduce special editions
Celebrating its recent success in sales, Suzuki Auto SA has introduced special editions of the popular Swift and Ignis models.
The Swift range sees the addition of the 1.2 GL Special Edition (SE). The special edition Swift stand out from the rest of the range with a set of unique decals, a blue rear roof spoiler, door visors and a door sill guard. Up-front you will find a new European-style front grille with blue trim. On the inside, vehicle occupants are treated to a touch screen infotainment system that is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
“The Swift Special Edition and two Ignis Special Edition variants offer customers the chance to express their unique style and individuality. As exclusive versions of our top-selling models, we are confident that it will find favour with fans of the brand and the specific models alike,” André Venter, divisional manager for sales and marketing at Suzuki Auto South Africa.
The Ignis model range got two new variants, the 1.2 GL SE and 1.2 GLX SE. The 1.2 GL SE model stand out from the rest with styling additions such as the black door cladding, door visors, a rigid mud flap set, red garnish on the front grille and red side body decals. Including all of the above styling additions, the Ignis GLX SE, however, features a white grille surround and centre bar garnish and updated fog-lamp bezels up-front. Similar to the Swift, the Ignis GLX SE also come fitted with door visors and a rear roof spoiler. White side-decals can be found along the length of the vehicle. The special edition Swift will be available in Arctic White and Silky Silver body-colour options, both limited to 50 units. The Ignis GL SE will also be available in the same colours although will be limited to 25 units of each. Customers of the Ignis GLX SE will be able to opt for the Tinsel Blue body-colour option featured with white highlights; however, this option is limited to the first 50 customers only.
“We know that customers who opt for a Special Edition model like to stand out, so we have introduced the SE models in a choice of several colours. These are available in very limited numbers for each model,” André Venter, divisional manager for sales and marketing at Suzuki Auto South Africa.
Suzuki passenger vehicles including the Special Edition models come standard with two-year/30 000 km service plan and five-year/200 000 km warranty.
