JOHANNESBURG – How can you stand a chance to win your share of R500 000 in cash prizes, courtesy of West Pack Lifestyle store? Read to find out.

With the season of giving just around the corner, West Pack Lifestyle is rewarding its customers with an opportunity to win their share of R500 000 in cash prizes as of this month.

Customers will be able to match their winnings and donate an equal cash amount to their favourite registered non-profit organisations.

Managing director of the West Pack Lifestyle Group, Chris Jnr da Silva said, “So many of our customers reach out to us with heartfelt requests for donations to help a cause or local charity that is close to their hearts. This year our competition provides our customers with the chance to win cash to spend on things they really need, but also the opportunity to give back to their favourite charity in a meaningful way.”

A total of R1 million in cash prizes and donations will be given away to customers and nominated charities between 1 and 23 December. Every R200 spent in-store until 22 December equates to one entry into the West Pack Lifestyle competition.

Customers can enter in-store with their contact details, till slip number or online at www.westpacklifestyle.co.za

Da Silva added that among some of the nominated charities are: Cansa, Sunfield Home for intellectually disabled adults, numerous animal charities, the Lighthouse Baby Shelter, Yad Aharon and Michael – the Jewish food fund, and more.

Da Silva emphasised that the store has a unique shopping culture. “Many of them are moms and dads or guardians, business owners, teachers and school representatives, event organisers, sports people and volunteers fundraising for a cause. We see them speak to our store managers and staff about a creative project or event they need help with or furniture or stationery they may need to start a business or help a school with,” Da Silva said.

He added that those customers were also caring individuals, who were gift-shopping for a friend or loved one because they knew it would bring them joy or make life easier for them. “It’s a pleasure to help our customers give back, especially if they may not have the means to do so,” Da Silva said.

Cash prize denominations include:

  • 2x R50 000 00 cash winners (2x R50 000 cash donations)
  • 4x R25 000 00 cash winners (4x R25 000 cash donations)
  • 5x R20 000 00 cash winners (5x R20 000 cash donations)
  • 20x R10 000 00 cash winners (20x R10 000 cash donations).

“We invite the public to nominate more of their favourite charities so they also have the chance to become a nominated beneficiary for cash donations.”
