Tintswalo at Waterfall has introduced another taste bud treat to their menu of lovely meals. Midrand Reporter recently sampled a variety of yummy food at the new monthly Tapas & Jazz Sunday lunch at Tintswalo at Waterfall.

The taste session, in a jazzy music environment by Blue Velvet band, is a great way to spend a Sunday. The menu includes duck leg rolls, prawns, butternut textures, beef braciole rolls and more tasty food that can be enjoyed using your hands.

Tinstwalo at Waterfall also runs a charity, the Diepsloot Youth Programme non-profit organisation, which has been involved in schools and the community of Diepsloot since 2012.

Sophy Tlhabadira who oversees the youth programme said, “Our mission is to provide for community development and social change that brings about a brighter future for the youth. We concentrate on schools and our youth as they are our future generation, the future of our country.

“In June the project launched its Education Expo in Diepsloot at the Diepsloot Youth Centre.

“We want to expose the youth of Diepsloot to the opportunities available to them and to enable them to take control of their future.”

The project hosted matric students from four schools in Diepsloot: Diepsloot Secondary 3, Diepsloot West, Rabasotho and Diepsloot Combined schools.

The main platter includes peri-peri prawns, beef braciole and more.
