Midrand SPCA rescues a kitten from built-in braai in Midrand

MIDRAND – The Midrand SPCA rescues a kitten stuck behind a braai.

 

After receiving a call, the Midrand SPCA rescued a kitten who was stuck behind a built-in braai at a Midrand residence on 12 March.

Inspector Theo Mokgatle from Midrand SPCA responded to the call which came from a member of the public. The inspector could not reach the kitten by hand after numerous attempts, and opted to use a blanket which was lowered down to the kitten.

The kitten successful climbed onto the blanket and was lifted up and rescued.

The kitten is now safely in the care of the Midrand SPCA.
