RANDBURG – World's top photographers to showcase best nature imagery at a conference.

Wild Shots will be hosting a Wildlife Photography Conference where top international and local nature photographers will be showcasing their latest work at the Vega Business School in Randburg on 22 October.

“Wild Shots is southern Africa’s premier annual wildlife photography conference and a unique opportunity to hear from the best in the business,” said Harriet Nimmo, Wild Shots co-founder.

The conference, which was founded in Cape Town five years ago, was launched in Johannesburg last year because of the number of passionate wildlife photographers who reside in the city. Nimmo said the event aimed to explore the power of nature imagery and how it promotes greater awareness of Africa’s wild places and wildlife, and the threats it faces.

“It is a day of inspiration, storytelling and stunning imagery where the power of photography to educate, inspire and conserve is discussed,” explained the co-founder.
