Joburg Day comes your way

JOHANNESBURG – See your favourite musicians in action at Huawei Joburg Day.

If you haven’t played your favourite local artists’ songs on repeat yet, it’s time to do so and learn the lyrics of all the popular local tunes in preparation for the much-anticipated Huawei Joburg Day.

The annual event hosted by Highveld radio 947, is supported by mobile brand Huawei and we’re excited about the line-up of award-winning acts that will feature at this year’s festival.

Residents of Joburg and its surrounds celebrate their love for the bustling city every year at the Huawei Joburg Day and this year’s event is expected to be attended by thousands of people, as well as a number of their favourite singers, rappers and performers.

Taking place at Crocodile Creek Polo Estate in Midrand, festival-goers can expect mind-blowing performances from returning acts such as Kyle Deutsche and Shekinah, who will no doubt be taking the vibe back to the beach; and South Africa’s mega rap star, AKA.

A STAR ON STAGE: AKA will perform his hit songs at Huawei Joburg Day on 3 September.

Music lovers can also expect to watch the likes of the BET Award-winning Black Coffee, as well as Good Luck, Timo ODV, Kwesta, Mi Casa and DJ Euphonik.

The DJs at 947 gave the public something more to look forward to by hosting a pre-show event at the Radisson Blu Hotel where Nasty C, Kwesta and DJ Euphonik took to the stage, and the decks, to get everyone ready for a great night of live music at Joburg Day.

It’s all going down on 3 September, so make sure to purchase your tickets at 947.co.za
