South African chocolate connoisseurs have another sweet treat in store, as Lindt and Sprüngli opened its new Lindt chocolate boutique at the Mall of Africa in Midrand.
Sandro Weber, acting chief executive officer for Lindt and Sprüngli South Africa said the new boutique, the second of its kind in Johannesburg, looks set to be as popular as its Sandton City and Gateway boutiques, which have both seen unprecedented footfall and popularity since opening ls in 2015.
The boutique boasts an impressive Lindour pick and mix station, with a wide variety of flavours, as well as the full range of well-known favourites and exclusive Lindt products. Echoing the look and feel of its international predecessors, with a specially imported chandelier and warm, premium finishes, the new state-of-the-art store is specially designed to immerse customers in the world of Lindt.
Weber said, “Given the premium look and feel and its strong focus on international brands, the Mall of Africa made perfect strategic sense as the next location for the boutique.”
Weber added that with Lindt’s global vision of becoming the world’s leading retailer of premium chocolate, the company looks forward to further expanding its retail footprint in South Africa.
To celebrate the Lindt chocolate boutique opening at Mall of Africa, which coincides with Swiss National Day on the 1 August, Lindt will offer customers 20 percent off all purchases until 7 August.
