Torque was the language at this year’s first South African Bike Festival, as bike fanatics witnessed their favourite riders taking on the newly refurbished Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.
The festival was attended by dedicated motorcyclists, motor enthusiasts and those who were looking for an exciting, fun-filled day out with the whole family.
International stunt and wheelie champion, Julien ‘RazorBack’ Welsch was also present at the festival. He came all the way from France to show off his skills.
Live acts such as Kahn Morbee of The Parlotones, Gangs of Ballet and rapper phenomenon Sizwe Moeketsi aka Reason, Cindy Alter of former band Clout and Majozi entertained the crowds of motor fanatics.
The festival catered for motor enthusiasts of all ages as it included:
- A pedestrian and on-site bike park access within the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit ground.
- Leading manufacturer displays and pit garages, accessories hall and a custom bike build championship.
- Scooters and commuters, bike action, stunts and jumps plus off-road and adventure features.
- Children adventure zone and riding school.
In celebration of motorcycling heritage, the latest designs and all things obsessively two-wheeled were exhibited, as well as the latest trends and biking accessories.
