Prime Circle to play at UEFA Champions Festival

JOBURG - Prime Circle to perform for the UEFA soccer fans of the world.

South Africa’s very own rock band, Prime Circle, has been given the chance of a lifetime and will be cheered on by soccer fans around the world.

Prime Circle has been invited by UEFA (the Union of European Football Association) to perform live at the UEFA Champions Festival which will be held from 26 to 28 May at the Piazza del Duomo in Milan. The local stars are set to perform on 27 May at 2pm.

With all six of their albums reaching platinum and gold award status in South Africa; and with the band having received 14 nominations for South African and African awards; and having performed more than 1 500 shows in Africa, the Middle East and Europe it is no wonder the band was chosen to be part of this renowned celebration.

Ross Learmonth, the band’s vocalist and guitarist said, “Prime Circle is very proud to participate in this mega-event and guarantees the football fans a top-class rock performance.”
