The Man Cave makes a comeback with its season 4 launch

JOBURG – Season 4 of The Man Cave is about to hit TV screens, and we have the lowdown...

Celebrities and special media guests were invited to an exclusive experience of the launch of The Man Cave Season 4 set at Steyn City on 31 March.

Back for its fourth season, SABC3’s travel and lifestyle show is created by men, for men, with presenters Janez Vermeiren and Lunga Shabalala, and new members Siv Ngesi and Warrick Stock, also known as DJ Warras.

The guests were given a sneak peak of the new season’s adrenaline adventures showing what the new season has to offer.

Vermeiren, Shabalala and Ngesi will take viewers on a series of emotional, heart-stopping and heritage-filled visits to parts of the world they might not have even considered visiting. DJ Warras joins the show as the motoring guru.

“We are doing a lot of international travel. The difference with this show is that we are going informative with it, so storytelling is key,” Vermeiren said.

One of the new angles the show is taking on this season is the inclusion of the female presence of Chanelle Sardinha, as they will deal with issues such as the high levels of rape and domestic violence against women and will try to raise awareness and create much-needed dialogue on such topics.

“Although the structure of the show is still the same, it’s taken to the next level in that as we invite our female guests onto the couch, our questions are going to be more hard-hitting because we are the voice of men in South Africa, and we wish to use our voices to convey a very important message,” Vermeiren said.

You can tune into the new season of The Man Cave with alpha males as they take TV viewers along for a series of thrilling adventures.

Details: Watch SABC3 every Sunday from 10 April
