AT Mambas are the new champs of the Lerato Lamola Winter Games 9th edition
The Winter Games witnessed moments of suspense, resilience, and ultimate triumph.
A mysterious incident at the Lord Khanyile Sports Ground left many fans of kasi football on edge during the ninth edition of the Lerato Lamola Winter Games
With the mysterious disappearance last week of a goalpost at the iconic grounds, concerns arose about the fate of the semis and finals of the knockout tournament. However, the missing goalpost was recovered and swiftly welded back into place.

The organisers of the tournament and community members worked tirelessly to ensure that the tournament could continue as planned, culminating in the much-anticipated semis and final on June 22.
The semifinals witnessed intense battles, with AT Mambas triumphing over Mudagasi with a 2–1 victory. Ama2000 also showcased their prowess by edging past JT Black Stars in a nail-biting penalty shootout after a goalless draw, securing their spot in the final.

As the tension mounted, AT Mambas and Ama2000 clashed in the showdown that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
In a closely contested match, AT Mambas emerged victorious 1-0, clinching the title in the ninth edition of the Lerato Lamola Winter Games.
As the tournament drew to a close, the organisers expressed their gratitude to all the teams and individuals who participated in making the event a success.
Special congratulations were extended to AT Mambas for their outstanding performance and seizing the grand prize in a competition filled with twists and turns.
