Midrand Royals coach Tshepang Malapile reflected on the team’s journey, highlighting the growth of new players and the club’s debut in the tournament.

She emphasised the importance of player development, strategy implementation, and the maturity displayed by the athletes in understanding the game at a deeper level.

“New players were also exposed to competition at club level and now understand what is expected of them at that level. The level of maturity in players improved as they no longer worried about catching the ball but rather implemented the techniques taught by coaches,” concluded Malapile.
