Back on the netball courts

MIDRAND – After months and months being barred from playing sports, the Midrand High School played their very first Netball match against Crawford College Sandton on 21 April in Midrand.

After months of being barred from playing sport, learners at Midrand High School played their very first netball matches against Crawford College Sandton on 21 April.

The two schools went head to head at Midrand High School netball courts with the U14A, U14, U15, U17 and first teams competing against one another.

All the teams were well prepared and eager to play against each other with Midrand coming out the losing side in most of the matches.
Despite the negative results, Midrand High’s head of sports Arthur Joshua expressed optimism for their future games, adding that they would need to put more time into practising as it was their first games after a year of not playing.
