Some traffic is inevitable, and motorists will need to be aware that the following intersections will be closed:

Metro Police will be stationed at these intersections to redirect traffic and ensure the safety of runners.

When parking at the venue, look out for the official SPAR parking officers who will be wearing yellow branded SPAR vests and have official accreditation badges.

They will direct you to official parking and keep your vehicle safe.

Organisers urge runners to not take directions of any other unofficial parking guards.

Online entries for the race closed at midnight on 24 September, but you can visit any SPAR, SuperSPAR or KwikSPAR store to fill in an entry form.

Caxton Local Media Joburg North is also collecting running shoes to give to underprivileged children as part of the ‘drop off a pair and show you care‘ campaign.

If you have new or pre-loved running shoes you are willing to donate, bring them during office hours to Caxton’s offices at 368 Jan Smuts Avenue, Craighall, or 1 187 Cornelius Street, Weltevvreden Park.
