MIDRAND – Sport helps in keeping the youth off the streets.

Mad Bulls Hola 7 Football Club held its Players’ Awards on

4 August at Busy Corner Imbizo Shisanyama in Ivory Park, Midrand.

“These awards will serve as a motivation to our players,” said the club’s chairman Sam Sibisi.

“Sport helps in keeping the youth off the streets while on the other hand, it discourages them from using dangerous substances like drugs or alcohol which will destroy their lives.

“We are preparing them to become professional players and join the ranks of Premier Soccer League teams. Our team is affiliated to Tembisa United Football Association which is a member of the South Africa Football Association Ekurhuleni. The team is based in Ivory Park Ext 2.”

The players also received tracksuit tops which were sponsored by Sibisi. He pointed out that running a football team was expensive and appealed for sponsorships.
