Midrand CC looking for cricket administrators
MIDRAND – Midrand CC is looking for an assistant for the Juinor side.
Following a season that saw the Midrand Cricket Club finish trophy-less for the first time in three years, the club is going into the off-season seeking answers for the upcoming season.
The club, which plays in two of the Eastern Cricket Board’s top three leagues, has competed well in the season, but their efforts this time around were not enough to secure them a trophy.
The Second Saturday side came close to reaching the trophy after they finished second in their respective league and the First Saturday side, playing in the Saturday One league, finished ninth and the Sunday Promo team, finished mid-table.
In preparation for the upcoming season, the club has gone on a campaign to find sportsmen and sportswomen with the love of the game, seeking to give of their time and be a part of the club’s administration.
Midrand CC is looking for individuals to assist in the running of the juniors team, basic coaching and any cricket lovers who want to a part of their structures.
