Multichoice Diski Challenge returns for a 4th season

JOBURG – The Multichoice Diski Challenge is coming up this weekend.

 

Season four of the Multichoice Diski Challenge (MDC) otherwise known as the PSL Reserve League, will kick-off on 9 September.

This follows the Premier Soccer League’s release of the 2017/18 MDC season fixtures, whose first festival format competition will be hosted by the city of Durban.

The matches will be played at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, the first time that MDC will be played at the venue.

Reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns will feature in the season opener together with the likes of Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs, Free State Stars and Bloemfontein Celtic as well as the clubs based in KwaZulu-Natal – Lamontville Golden Arrows, Maritzburg United and AmaZulu.

9 September fixture:

Bloemfontein Celtic vs Mamelodi Sundowns at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium at 10am; Baroka FC vs Bidvest Wits at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Limpopo at 10am; AmaZulu FC vs Orlando Pirates at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium at 12 noon; Cape Town City vs Polokwane City at the NY 49 Gugulethu Stadium at 12 noon; SuperSport United vs Platinum Stars at the Lucas ‘Masterpieces’ Moripe Stadium at 12 noon; and Chippa United vs Ajax Cape Town at the Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth at 12 noon.

10 September fixture:

Maritzburg United vs Free State Stars at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium at 10am and Golden Arrows vs Kaizer Chiefs at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium at 12 noon.
