The winter season finals ends for the social touch rugby leagues

FOURWAYS - The touch rugby league held their winter season league finals at Fourways Di Data – The Campus.

 

The super league final was between the Old Dogs team and Over-Dawgz with Old Dogs winning 9-6.

The second division final saw Moose Knuckles take on Suns Out Guns Out and winning 10-5, and the third division final was between Blatjan Krygers and El Toro which was beaten 7-5.

The winter season league matches were held at various venues around Johannesburg, including Randburg Old Parks on Monday evenings, Fourways Di Data – The Campus, Jeppe Quondam on Wednesday evenings, and Zoo Lake Sports Club on Thursday evenings.

“Touch Rugby is great for all players of different shapes and sizes, old or young, male or female to compete and have a good competitive experience at their own level,” said Andrew Thomson, general manager of In2Touch rugby.

“I urge everyone to come and participate in this fun sport,” he said.

The spring season will start on 26 August at Fourways Di Data and Jeppe Quondam on 27 August.
