Crescents set a target of 152 after they were bowled out for 151 in 34.4 overs.
Knights’ Naresh Borra was the pick of the bowlers and picked up three wickets. Suman Choudary, Vinesh Reddy and Naveen Pothineni all chipped in with two wickets apiece.
The Knights chased the total down in 24 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Vijay Kumar top scored with 57 and Reddy contributed 33 to the chase.
Kumar and Reddy shared the man of the match title.
Meanwhile, the Knights 1st team played at home against Randburg Cricket Club in a SA6 fixture.
The Knights won the toss and decided to bowl. They had their opposition at 40/5 before restricteing them to 171/8 in 35 overs.
The Knights’ Somu Shekar took three wickets and Pradeep Muppala bagged two.
The Knigts’ reply got off to a shaky start as they lost three quick wickets. However, their middle-lower order came to the rescue.
Santosh Raichetti (40), Somu Shekar (26) and Shumail Ahmad (41) made sure the hosts won the match by four wickets.
Man of the match was awarded to Shekar.
