#WorldCup2018: A Croat and some frogs may keep football from coming home [VIDEOS]

WORLD CUP – England has shown themselves to be as good as any of the other favourites despite the youthfulness and relative inexperience of their players.

Tournament top-scorer and England captain, Harry Kane will have it all to do in his team’s Football World Cup semi-final match against Croatia at 8pm tonight.

The winner of the game will face one of the favourites of the tournament, France, in the final on Sunday.

Croatia is a side that impressed all with their dynamic attacking play and caught the world’s attention with a dramatic 3–0 drubbing of football giants, Argentina, in the group stage.

A narrow win by penalties against the host nation, Russia, in the quarter-finals showed that the team has the temperament needed to play the long and close matches as well.

England, despite a 1–0 loss against Belgium in the group stage, has shown themselves to be as good as any of the other favourites despite the youthfulness and relative inexperience of their players.

Coach Gareth Southgate has impressed many by how he has drawn this winning spirit and self-belief out of his young side, but his opposite number, Zlatko Dalic will have his own plans going into tonight’s fixture.
