Scholarship available for Grade 12’s at Varsity College
The scholarship aims to provide financial support to talented and deserving learners or students who wish to pursue higher education but cannot afford it.
The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2024 scholarship programme for 180 Grade 12 students who demonstrate academic excellence.
The scholarship programme aims to provide financial support to talented and deserving learners or students who wish to pursue higher education but cannot necessarily afford it.
Scholarships will be awarded to individuals interested in undergraduate contact learning for the full minimum duration of the qualification and who apply to The IIE’s Varsity College for the first time.
Having been awarded a scholarship this year, Caitlyn Tyler Govender, a first-year Bachelor of Laws student at The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall commented on the importance of the scholarship.
“The scholarship holds significant meaning for both my family and me. It represents a remarkable opportunity to pursue my educational goals and expand my knowledge while not putting my parents under financial strain,” Govender explained.
“With the scholarship, I am able to devote myself fully to my studies and explore enriching experiences. This scholarship has not only provided me with a strong foundation for my academic journey, but it will also serve as a source of inspiration for others around me. It would demonstrate that hard work, perseverance, and seizing every opportunity can lead to success. This scholarship has shown me to never stop pursuing my dreams and passions.”
Waterfall Campus head, Avadhi Ghela said the college scholarship programme continues to grow as it supports and enables students committed to academic excellence.
“We proudly acknowledge and celebrate recipients of our previous years’ scholarships, such as Caitlyn, who has continued to excel academically”, said Ghela.
The 2024 scholarship programme will close on October 6 this year.
