Nova Pioneer makes education accessible

The Nova Pioneer Foundation launches a Financial Need-Based Bursary Programme and expands its Academic Scholarships Programme.

Nova Pioneer Schools, including the Midrand campus, launched the Nova Pioneer Foundation’s Financial Need-Based Bursary Programme and expands their Academic Scholarships Programme.

These initiatives aim to make quality education accessible to more talented youth in Gauteng, regardless of their financial backgrounds –
while it makes the school’s vision to make excellent 21st-century education as accessible as possible a reality.

The bursary and scholarships aim to alleviate the financial burden learners and their families may face, making education more accessible and reducing barriers to entry.

By easing financial constraints, scholarships enable learners to focus more on their studies, extracurricular activities, and personal growth while they stimulate a conducive learning environment.

Belinda Godfrey is the chief commercial officer at Nova Pioneer.

Chief commercial officer at Nova Pioneer Belinda Godfrey said the academic scholarships recognise and reward academic excellence, talent, or other deserving criteria, motivating learners to strive for higher achievements.

“These opportunities will not only boost students’ confidence and self-esteem but also encourage them to pursue their passions and excel in their chosen fields. The financial support will be afforded to up to 100 learners next year and will ultimately enable them to realise their full potential and help them become successful contributors to society,” said Godfrey.

Nova Pioneer is known for their innovative approach to education, where learners learn through critical thinking, problem-solving, and building real-world solutions.

“The foundation’s scholarship fund has already supported numerous deserving young individuals to receive life-changing learning at Nova Pioneer schools. However, there are still families in our focus countries who face financial constraints despite the comparatively affordable fees.”
