A mother of two was tragically stabbed to death in Mayibuye in an incident allegedly involving her ex-boyfriend, the father of her children.

The couple has a four-year-old daughter and an eight-month-old son. This shocking event occurred on October 13, following an alleged heated argument about custody of the children that arose after their separation.
Paramedics and Rabie Ridge police responded to the scene, where the 25-year-old mother was pronounced dead.

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majang Skalkie confirmed the incident and stated that authorities were searching for the suspected perpetrator.
“The Rabie Ridge police are investigating a case of murder,” said Skalkie. “The suspect has not been arrested. We appeal to the community that if they have any information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts, please contact the investigating officer.”
