Summerhill School SA learner calculates the Mental Math World Cup

Avyan Bhogal’s exceptional performance during the Mental Math World Cup earned him an impressive score of 458 points, putting him first within Summerhill School.

Recently, Avyan showcased his talent by competing in the prestigious Mental Math World Cup 2024. He ranked first within Summerhill School, 16th in South Africa, and 1 103rd globally.

The Mental Math World Cup is an innovative app-based league focused on mental math competitions, allowing participants like Avyan to shine on an international stage.

Held from August 16 to August 24, the event featured talented competitors from various countries. Avyan competed in the Master category for learners aged nine to 11, achieving an impressive score of 458.

This achievement has not only brought personal pride to Avyan but has also caused the entire Summerhill School community to beam with pride and joy.
