Local initiative Uplift A Child launched a gift of education plan to help children with funding for education

Uplift A Child aims to help 1000 local school children with scholarships, educational supplies and mentorship.

In a heartwarming initiative, Uplift A Child launched its mission to alleviate the financial barriers that hinder children’s access to education.

The launch was held at DreamHill International School in Halfway House on August 19.

Founder Sam Vonumu, said this organisation has set its sights on uplifting the lives of 1000 children in Midrand.

According to Vonumu the initiative is dedicated to ensuring that economic limitations don’t dim the light of children’s potential.

Director of Uplift A Child, Nagaraju Gurrala said the launch is now on a big scale to uplift children who need assistance from kindergarten to high school.
