Local model is working to claim the Face of Devotion Mzansi crown

Khuzwayo has always been her own inspiration but wants to be a great model like Miss Teen World 2022 Gugulethu Mayisela.

Sanele Khuzwayo’s passion for modelling, uplifting, and empowering local youth keeps growing.

The 23-year-old Midrand-based model has created local pageants, Miss Face Rovers and Miss Face of Rabie Ridge to nurture self-esteem and confidence in young models. “Grooming young models in the township has always been my passion and launching my own pageants is the biggest highlight of my career,” said Khuzwayo.

She is currently preparing for the Face of Devotion Mzansi pageant. It’s a sash she has wanted to win for four years. The Face of Devotion Mzansi is a continental pageant where winners from participating African countries work to bring together African nations.
Each contestant goes on a one-year journey where they are taught the importance of having a better tomorrow. During this time they are also observed and taught how to be good leaders.

“Young minds are charged when they see their idols achieving the impossible. As a model and idol, the sash is one accolade that will open doors for me and the community. Over the years I have always wanted the queen’s crown but the Face of Devotion hits differently as I want the overall winner’s sash. Winning it will be one step to going international,” she explained.
Khuzwayo desires to be a great model like Miss Teen World 2022 Gugulethu Mayisela. “I am my own inspiration because of the upliftment I am doing for my community and I am glad that people, especially youth notice that.”

Besides her pageants, Khuzwayo also does drives and campaigns where they get to donate toiletries and other essential items to local orphanages and schools.
