Nova Pioneer Midrand team takes part in the Absa Run Your City Joburg 10km
The Midrand team, comprising teachers and central team members, showcased their dedication to health and well-being as they took on the 10km challenge.
Nova Pioneer Midrand Campus proudly participated in the prestigious Absa Run Your City Joburg 10km run on September 24, in the bustling Johannesburg CBD.
The race, which saw runners from across the city take to the streets, was a celebration of fitness, resilience, and community. The Midrand team, comprising teachers and central team members, showcased their dedication to health and well-being as they took on the 10km challenge.
Pule Letshweni, marketing associate at Nova, said the Midrand team ran through Johannesburg’s historical landmarks, demonstrating their physical endurance and school spirit.
“The Joburg 10km run provided a perfect opportunity for the Nova Pioneer community to engage in a shared experience that extends beyond the classroom, promoting the holistic development of students,” said Letshweni.

Midrand Campus dean of students Nomsa Dimpe, who also participated in the event, emphasised the significance of such activities.
“At Nova Pioneer Midrand, we believe in creating well-rounded individuals. The Joburg 10km run was a great way for our staff to challenge themselves physically while fostering a sense of unity and teamwork,” said Dimpe.
The Midrand team’s participation in the race was a key part of their Heritage Day celebrations, highlighting Nova Pioneer’s values of perseverance, growth, and community involvement.
