Midrand High U17 girls soccer season unfolds as Relebogile stands as a beacon of talent and determination.

Midrand High Schools U17 girls soccer player Relebogile ‘Rele’ Rakgole is rapidly establishing herself as a formidable net buster and a young talent worth watching closely.

Her impressive goal-scoring ability in the JVW Diamond League U17 5 and 8 streams makes her a player synonymous with talent and determination.

Her ability to find the back of the net has already begun to make waves in the league, and fans, teachers, and coaches alike are taking notice of her potential.

In their recent three league matches, Midrand High has shown remarkable prowess, securing six valuable points.

On August 30, they delivered a stunning performance against Curro Thatchfield, achieving a convincing 5–1 victory.
Despite facing a setback with a 4-2 loss to PTA High School for Girls on September 3, the girls continued their strong form by overpowering Hatfield Christian School with an even more impressive scoreline of 9-1.

Relebogile scored an outstanding 11 goals including a remarkable double brace against Curro Thatchfield and seven goals against Hatfield Christian School.

Arthur Joshua, the head of sports at Midrand High expressed immense pride in the girls for their achievements thus far.

He specifically commended Relebogile for her astonishing contributions to the team’s success.

“She is evolving into a truly remarkable soccer star. Recently, she played a pivotal role in securing a fantastic 9-1 victory for Midrand High, netting a staggering seven goals in that match alone,” said Joshua.

“It is evident that she is becoming our leading goal scorer, and witnessing her growth has been nothing short of amazing. Furthermore, we are incredibly proud of all the girls and everything they have accomplished, including these commendable victories.”

As the season progresses, Midrand’s U17 girls team finds themselves facing a challenging league.

With three wins and three losses in their last six matches, they currently sit in fourth place on the league table with nine points.

They will be eager to maximise their points in the upcoming match against Sutherland High School, who are just one position below them in fifth place, separated by only a single point.
