Emporium re-opens newly refurbished building

The Centre hosts various Halfway House Development Forum (HHDF) meetings which seeks to fight lawlessness in the suburb including illegal parking, littering, and loitering.

There was a buzz of activities as young children shot bubbles in the air from their toy water guns while the elders enjoyed some classical melodies from Michael ‘The Guitar Man’ Baloyi.

This happened at Halfway House’s Medical Centre, known as The Health Emporium, on August 3.

The centre hosts various Halfway House Development Forum (HHDF) meetings. In a bid to show they walk the talk with the forum, new sidewalks and dustbins have been placed, in a bid to fight jay-walking and littering.
