Nova Pioneer Midrand Secondary celebrates 10th anniversary of Nova with community outreach initiatives

Nova Pioneer celebrates 10 years since it launched its first learning programmes, and officially left 'base camp' on their mission to develop innovators and leaders who will shape the African century

July marked a memorable month at Nova Pioneer Midrand Secondary as learners, staff, and families celebrated a significant milestone— Nova Pioneer’s 10th anniversary.

This celebration on July 10, was not limited to festivities, it also included a dedication to meaningful community outreach.

Through various activities, learners demonstrated their commitment to making a positive impact in Midrand, highlighting the essence of the Nova Pioneer mission.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, learners from the Midrand secondary campus engaged in two impactful outreach activities that embodied the school’s spirit of service.

This was not merely a token gesture, it was a profound commitment to the community, demonstrating the ethical and empathetic leadership that Nova Pioneer aims to cultivate.

One group of learners chose to spend their day at the Midrand SPCA, where they devoted their energy to caring for animals in need.

Their activities ranged from feeding and cleaning to spending quality time with the animals, making a real difference in their lives.

Meanwhile, another group took the initiative to deliver much-needed clothes and food to the Botshabelo Babies Home and Preschool, displaying compassion for the vulnerable children within their community.

Chinezi Chijioke, co-founder and CEO of Nova Pioneer, expressed his pride in the school’s accomplishments over the past decade.

Nova Pioneer staff members are all smiles as they dressed up for the 10th anniversary celebration.

He emphasised the collective passion and effort invested in building a strong educational foundation.

“We have much to celebrate and much for which to be grateful,” he said, acknowledging the contributions of every learner, family member, and supporter.
