Local school receives R20 000 donation for computer room

Midrand Innovative Learning Centre (MILC) celebrated the R20 000 donation to enhance the computer room facilities in Noordwyk.

Khan said it will also prepare them for success in an increasingly digital world.
“The school extends its heartfelt gratitude to BBD Software for their investment in the future of Midrand’s youth. [The donation] certainly highlights the importance of corporate investment in a school, and the belief that our school is making a difference in the lives of learners that come to us,” said Khan.

He said the generous contribution will enhance the computer room facilities for their local learners.

The donation was presented during a special ceremony at the school, attended by representatives from BBD Software, educators, and learners.

From the software company to hand over the donation were Precious Nkomo, Neetu Ramchunder (also vice chair of the school’s parent association), and Thabang Ledwaba.

Khan concluded that this will go towards enhancing the computer room infrastructure and providing learners with access to cutting-edge technology.
