Rifumo Polite Mkansi (23), also known as Thatkid Polite, is a student at Sants Private Higher Education Institution, and he is far from being just a typical rapper.
His recent hit single, Get Da Bag, has created ripples in the music industry, hinting at a promising future as he gears up to release his upcoming extended play (EP) later this year.

At a tender age, Thatkid Polite discovered his unwavering love for music. Experimenting with beats and recording tracks on his phone, he noticed a genuine connection forming with his audience.
“I always loved music since I was young,” he said. “I used to download beats and then record songs on my phone, then people seemed to love and enjoy my music regardless of low-quality sound so that kinda pushed me to take my career seriously and start investing in myself for quality studio sessions.”
Despite the initial limitations in sound quality, the positive reception fueled his determination to hone his craft. His versatility shines through not just in hip-hop but also in R&B and Afro Pop genres, setting him apart as a multifaceted artist.

“I wanna use my music to motivate the listeners, especially my age group, to follow their dreams regardless of where they come from or lack resources and also to have financial stability through monetising their talents for a living.”
