Moodley’s non-profit organisation, Femme Influence, was born from a fusion of academic insight and a drive for positive social change.

Drawing from her experiences during her studies, she witnessed first-hand the urgent need for initiatives that address critical issues faced by women. This realisation served as the catalyst for the inception of Femme Influence.

“Throughout my studies, I was involved with various projects that highlighted the pressing social issues we face as women,” she explained.

“These experiences, coupled with a strong desire to create tangible change, motivated Femme Influence. I want to leverage my education and skills to address these issues directly and contribute to meaningful, lasting solutions.”

Femme Influence operates on a tri-fold mission, focusing on women’s empowerment, health education, and the prevention of gender-based violence.

By providing education, resources, and support in these crucial areas, Moodley and her team aim to effect tangible, sustainable change within the community.

She credits her time at Waterfall College to equip her with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead Femme Influence effectively.

“My coursework in management, marketing and finance as well as my involvement in student committees such as the social committee and career centre provided me with the skills and knowledge to develop effective programmes, secure funding and build strategic partnerships.”

Moodley’s vision for the organisation extends beyond mere philanthropy, it embodies a commitment to creating enduring solutions to societal challenges.

By leveraging her educational background and extracurricular engagements, she is spearheading initiatives that not only address immediate needs but also lay the groundwork for a more equitable and empowered future.

As Femme Influence gains traction and garners support, Moodley remains steadfast in her dedication to driving change and transforming lives.
