Over 40 students, staff and guest speakers hosted to a successful Constitutional Law at The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall

The IIEs Varsity College Waterfall future attorneys get insights into constitutional law.

An exhilarating event on constitutional law was recently held at The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall campus that left everyone in awe.

Attended by around 40 first to fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce in Law and Bachelor of Laws students, the event also drew in staff and guest speakers who made the occasion even more remarkable.

Its primary objective was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of constitutional law and to enlighten them with the numerous career paths available within the legal profession.

It was graced by the presence of two exceptional law clerks, Vivienne Jonker, and Shawn Greene, who shared their extensive knowledge, experiences, and insights with the students.

The duo’s presence was a huge morale booster for the students who aspire to become judge’s clerks.

The students could not have enough of the event, which they found to be very informative and enlightening.

Lesedi Netshitumi, a third-year Bachelor of Commerce in Law student, felt that the event was nothing short of incredible and provided them with a deeper understanding of how the Constitutional Court works.

“The information provided in the session gave me perspective and made me wonder what legal field I would like to work in because there are just so many options. I also had the opportunity to network with Vivienne and Shawn and connect with them on LinkedIn after the event,” concluded Netshitumi.
