The college’s unwavering commitment to creating an unforgettable experience for the students was evident in every aspect of the event, from the meticulously planned schedule to the enthusiastic participation of all involved.

The college’s O’ Week is one of several student-centric teamwork events aimed at fostering connections between first-year students.

Students participate in a week-long event that equips them with the necessary skills to pursue tertiary life with confidence.

Miescha Valadao, a first-year Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching student, shared her experience, saying, “After O’ Week, I feel more than just a number. It was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed it more than I had expected. I was able to make new friends and got to learn about the campus and where everything is. I feel a lot more confident starting my degree after attending O’ Week.

“The campus makes an effort to make all their students feel welcome and included at all times and also provides support and assistance in all aspects of tertiary. I am most excited about getting to do the practical side of my degree and to start netball practice.”
