Zandaux Echoes ‘One Africa, One Market’ to propel African business connectivity

A cutting-edge B2B E-commerce platform launched for SME’s.

Jabulani Hlathi, a local entrepreneur and a jack of all trades, has expressed his admiration for Zandaux, a new B2B (Business to Business) e-commerce platform that was recently launched in South Africa with a mission to empower small businesses across Africa and help one billion people rise above poverty.

The platform has already made a successful debut in Kenya and Nigeria in January, and it is now set to redefine African business connectivity and the African B2B e-commerce sector in South Africa and then Egypt.

Zandaux is a cutting-edge platform that aims to create a ‘One Africa-One Market’ and has earned widespread acclaim for its intuitive interface, robust features, and dedication to fostering a vibrant business ecosystem.

It has earned the trust of businesses across Africa by providing a platform where small businesses can get not just on the market but also the African market.

Hlathi who owns The Forest brand shared his perspective on the importance of having a platform that enables small businesses to register for free and thrive.

“The platform is highly valuable for small businesses that are still trying to gain traction and expand their reach. It’s not just the cost factor that makes this platform essential, but the fact that it allows businesses to connect with potential customers from different countries,” Hlathi explained.

“With more countries joining the platform, I feel that it’s an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our products to a broader audience while we are physically located here in South Africa. This platform can enable us to provide our services to people in other countries, which was not possible earlier….”

During the South African launch on February 14 at Midrand Premier Hotel, Zandaux CEO Franck Obambi Ngatse explained that the platform is designed to accommodate businesses of all sizes, especially small businesses that often lack the budget to reach target audiences.

“With Zandaux, businesses can reach markets they may not have been able to reach without an e-commerce platform focused on connecting businesses. The platform is committed to fostering seamless B2B transactions, promoting collaboration, and driving innovation, and emerges as a transformative force in Africa’s dynamic trade landscape.”

Zandaux has been in existence since 2020 and has already listed more than 15 000 products on the platform and has close to 1 000 merchants from the four countries Zandaux operates in today.

CTO at Zandaux Dennis Reumer explained that the platform allows participating manufacturers and suppliers across Africa to sell to their clients inside and outside the country borders, as well as giving the seller and buyers access to communicate with one another.
